Topic: Millennials Rising – Harnessing the Power of the Generations

Description: Today’s workplace includes four generations of workers, Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Generation X, and Millennials. Just when we thought it was OK for the Traditionalists and Baby Boomers to retire and make room for Gen X and Millennials, we find that many are now starting new careers and continuing to work. So, we just can’t ignore generational differences and hope they will go away (or retire). The future of public works is the Millennial generation. In this presentation, we’ll examine traits unique to the Millennial generation and discuss how the rest of us in the other three generational groups can learn to motivate and work effectively with Millennials, all 76 million of them.
