Larry Frevert, a retired professional engineer refers to himself as a retired public works professional.  He worked 46 years in the public works field with a combination of public and private employment as well as nearly a year as the Interim Executive Director of APWA.  He is a past national and KC Metro Chapter president of APWA and has served on and chaired various committees at both the national and chapter level.  A former APWA Top Ten Public Works Leader of the Year, he has traveled both domestically and internationally to Japan, Austria, Germany, Canada, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, New Zealand, China, Russia and Cuba to exchange public works technologies and strategies with representatives of those countries and cities within those countries.

Larry will have been married to Carol for 52 years in May, is the father of four grown professional children and grandfather of seven cherished grandchildren.

Breakfast from Hy-Vee will be provided.
