Stormwater Management in the Kansas City region is heavily influenced by the standards in Section 5600 of the APWA KC Metro Design Criteria. This seminar will present information on recent research on hydrologic design methods, detention standards in the current version of Section 5600, and a discussion of how stormwater management strategies, and APWA 5600, may be updated in the future.
